A Selfie... I'll most likely regret it. *sigh* My TPL teammates suggested I think of something else. LOL!
But... here I am .. .10 hour before rollover... and ... not another idea has popped into my head in days.
I'm beginning to think there's nothing up there but an eye. *grin*
Anyway... here we go. Let the voters have their wicked way with me. *heavy sigh*
It was this, or nothing.
I unloaded the Lazy Susan's spices from the corner cabinet in our kitchen... and put it on the table with my camera on top. Spun it a billion times while hanging over it... trying to get my eye in focus (used a cable remote that kept winding up... so I'd spin it the opposite direction the next time.)
Not as easy as I thought it would be, because the camera had to be in the exact center and my eye had to be in the exact center of the camera... and I couldn't see anything.
Anyway... here's one for my TPL team...
And... even though my team is really polite in their asking me to shoot something else after viewing this... (ha!)... so far... I have NO other ideas...
*sigh*
I hope it's not too weird.
Ok. That's just silly.
Of COURSE, it's too weird.
*another sigh*
ETA: Oops!! I'm suspended for a week... *sigh*

Disqualification Details |
You may not use ANY editing tool to create new image area, objects or features (such as lens flare or motion) that didn't already exist in your original capture.
In this case, you took a blurred iris and "made it sharp" by drawing details with the dodge/burn tools: no such sharp details are visible in the original. Remember, there's no such thing as a "legal tool" in advanced editing, because we judge only the effects attained, not the tool used to attain them. |

This would make a great "How'd they do that?" tutorial, Lydia. The physics of the iris staying somewhat in focus blew my mind while this was in voting. I even clicked the link to ask the SC how the heck you did that. Glad the image passed their tests. |

I would recognize this eye anywhere! Go Lydia. |
