 The picture speaks for itself: it shows the transition from a big healty green leave to a small dry dead one. Duh!

The leafs were arranged on a white sheet of paper and placed in difuse sunlight. The camera was in macro-mode and flash turned off. By using the manual exposure-compensation-settings of the camera, I overexposed the picture, causing the structure of the white paper to disappear and smoothening the shadows.
Just had to crop the image and resize it to 480x640.

After overexposing, did you fix the exposure back to get a good exposure on the leaves? I love this photo. :o)

nice and soft, you obviously have a better lighting situation than I do. the framing could be a littl more dramatic, but that's just a nitpick.

Very clean lines and colours. I like it a lot. Would have turned the green leaf about 45degrees counter clockwise to keep the motion moving 'up'
