 So this was a hard photo to do, I'm glad it ended up doing so well. Thanks for all your votes and comments.

I did this self portrait completely unaided (no help from the kiddos this time) I was able to get my focus by propping a broom in a bucket of sand. I Put and x on the floor and then positioned the broom head where I would be holding the mirror. I went back to the camera focused on the broom and then turned it to manual focus so that the focus would stay in that spot. Now I could just press the shutter button with the timer set and run to my spot and position myself. It took about 50 tries to get a few good ones. But actually the mirror helped because I could see the camera with it.

Jen, to save the trouble of the broom in the bucket of sand, which I found hilarious, have you ever considered a remote controller? I used one in my minimal portrait challenge.

Superb shot. Love the expression, depicting that of a broken woman, looking into a broken mirror. Congratulations. If I wanted to be picky, I could say that the backdrop did not really do it for me. I guess I'm used to your white backdrops [Like that fishing shot]. Everything else absolutely perfect. Well done.
