Well, my beautiful people resource was running a bit dry (I don't know any) so I had to reluctantly be the subject in this shot. I don't really like being in my pictures but made an exception with this one. I've had this shot in mind for a few years and thought it would go well with this challenge. A friend helped me out but didn't want to be the person in the forefront so he agreed to be the intruder in the hall. You can't tell but he's actually wearing a trench coat, Indiana Jones style hat, and holding a 12" chef's knife.

This was taken in the hallway outside my apartment door. I'm standing in an entrance to a fire escape and there's a big window right in front of me shining some nice natural light into the dim hallway.

Thanks everyone for all the great comments and votes.

It's surprisingly hard to make knives show up in shots like this. I managed to get a few shots that that showed it nicely but were ultimately relegated to outtakes for Film Noir because I didn't like the rest of them, and it took a good deal of work to make the knife even evident at all in the final. Nice shot, was pretty sure this one was yours.
