Sorry I'm late. Just back from a brief vacation. I admittedly took these late last week before I left - practicing / experimenting. Had a rough week last week and so the theme for at least my first week is "Lighting and Emotions" - no exhaustive photoshopping, so they're a bit boring.

Oh, yes, I'm still away for a couple of weeks, so the shots I'm taking now will be posted when I get back. I can access the interweb here, but not do anything with/to the shots in the cam.

I wanted to say thanks for all the comments so far, and I also wanted to say how surprised I am at the comments on my day 3 that suggested it looked like I was about to give someone a stern talking to... but how could anyone be taken seriously with gigantic flowers next to their head?! :D If I was about to receive a dressing down from a guy trying to be dead serious while sitting next to some sunflowers, it'd be hard to keep a straight face. ;-) I think Art was closer to it... looks more like an impatient diner.
Just thought it was kinda funny... I think I have the kind of face that looks vaguely menacing by default. I could be thinking about circus clowns and candy floss and old ladies still think I'm mad at them for not crossing the street fast enough. |

Same here. I get that a lot too. I tend to walk around with a grin on my face just to avoid being asked what's wrong with me. I definitely have to force a smile when I'm meeting people or else they think I don't like them, and I like everybody I meet, unless they deliberately talk down to me or anyone around me, then... I stop smiling. :D
