I wish you were right. We here in Poland are quite dissapointed, but we liked the match. It was painful that both goals were shot by the Polish guy.

There's a lot more than 2 good players there. Sure, the goal is to feed Ronaldo, but if a different player were playing the same position then the goal would be to feed him instead. |

0-3 there is a great silence :) a bad match for the italy. the worst italian defence that I remember. only Buffon always to the top. a bit of bad luck in some moment... It's evident that we must change something in the next match.

This is why I gave up on my Italians in 2000.They fell 2-1 to France in extra time. They did their usual.. get a lead then sit back. well It bit them in the ass! Since then they have been nothing but boring and playing uninspiring football. Yes everyone will say "but they won the World Cup" Yes they did but who did they beat to get to the final? Nobody!And the in the Final..well we all know what happened there! Today was no different and should really come as no surprise..except to my fellow Italians who are blinded by this illusion of being "World Champions".
They may go on to the second round but it doesn't look good.

Indeed! I think Ibrajimovic is playing too... Having a hard time concentrating at work... Spain - Russia will be most interesting too... Can't wait for the footie, beers and smokes (I quit except during game times)...
