I tell you what, if germany don't beat turkey with the suspensions and injuries turkey have sustained, then it will be the biggest upset in world football history, nevermind european history! Germany are a dead cert to reach the final - its as safer bet as you're ever gona get - a dead certainty!!!
As much as I like holland, I'm hoping my iberian brothers (spain) reach the final and take the title!!! |
still we remember italy-north corea 0-1 in world championship 1966 in england ........ italy-spain will be a great match and we wait for the final. holland? a very good team but the russian are dangerous..... |

I am still in the state of disbelief after watching the last 2 minutes of overtime yesterday... I respect Bilic a lot, and I feel for him. If nothing, he'll be better next time. Brings back memories of the Yugoslavia-Argentina q-finals in Italy 1990 when Osim lost in Penalty kicks...
Now, regarding the winner, let's not forget what happened the last time in Portugal - Greece won! So, do not count Turkey out yet!
The game is about to start, (NL-RU)I think NL:RU = 3:2 in regulation. |

I can't believe the Dutch have done it again and lost with such a team!!! what a great display by Russia.
I've no idea anymore, before it all started I thought the Portugese, Dutch or Spanish...
Not very good at predicting! As I should know, never underestimate the Germans. Please not the Germans again!!!

Id say that too, but maybe we better wait till the Spain-Italy match.
Chances are opiions will change once again and Spain/Italy will be favorites |

Way to go, Russia. You are now officially my favorites...
You showed (as Germany had showed us before too...) that being a *team* is far more effective than being a constellation of stars.
Also, you can also play with eye-candy if given the chance.
And what about Turkey? Never seen anything like that before. Two games in a row, two unbelieveable comebacks. This is getting to be one of the less predictable Euros in a looooong time. |

I almost had a heartache yesterday!! Italy, the curse of the quarterfinals, penalties again,...everything was against once more...but this time luck was on our side!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
