Going for more of a leading line off the fence in the forground and having the diagonal continue throught the lighthouse. I know the composition is a bit centered with the actual light being in the middle, I could crop it more to the right side of the photo, but I kind of liked it this way. |
I did an edit of the Lighthouse base on Debs and Pennys comments on the water color and the cloning, If I could get an opinion on it I would be very thankful. The water in question was the water on the right side of the lighthouse in the back by the other small structure in the background.
Thanks alot to all,

I just see that you cropped it a bit and stretched out the pic. The water does look better (less of it) - am I missing something? |

In the water on the right in the origonal photo there was a pinkish/reddish tint to the water that I removed. Also, I cropped the water out because there was some effects from cloning that Deb had mentioned that I tried to remove but made it look worse than it already did. In the end I decided to take a crop off the right side to remove some of the cloning effects and was able to fix the others(IMO) that were left in that corner of the water.
Thanks for taking a look.

Ironically enough, the image number itself fits my theme as well by using a "minimal" set of numbers. hahah 665566

Remember in the movie Tommyboy that song: "Fat Guy in a Little Coat"?
Well this is how he got that way.
The women folk are away at music practice, so Josh and I had a Tombstone.
Greasy goodness! Yummm...
Chuck Norris never touches this stuff
Btw - I know the DOF is shallow. This was handheld in natural room light, fresh out of the oven. We were too hungry to wait around for me to get the tripod and softbox.

When this is over I plan on creating a photo book of my April Marbellous shots. This is fun and challenging. |

Natural Light - Day 03 - "DOF"
Tomorrow I'll start commenting here. I don't feel well and I'm tired so it's time to go fall asleep in front of the TV...

A little out of order here with day two. But then it's not a very good shot technically anyway, so I might as well ignore convention.
My little boy fell off a bed last month and broke his arm pretty badly. A good friend at work made a cake just for him with a casted arm and his family's signatures on it (even the dog). He was thrilled and still talks about it. So Day Two is a before and after of the cake. He ate most of it himself, but had a little help from the rest of us.
This is more a slice of life than an artistic rendering. But true to my plan I did not have to go outside for this shot.
