This is a shot of wickee_one trying to get a shot for her "Spring" theme. This was her first time using extension tubes and extremely shallow DOF, and it was frustrating because it started raining before she got the shot. So she said that this is her shot too.

It's a good shot for both of you. Your shallow dof really makes Amanda and her red coat pop right out. Amanda looks very professional with her Cannon and that fancy lens setup. Hope she gets a chance to finish her shot and share it.

I like shots of photogs in action, especially if they're DPC photogs! Thanks for sharing this, and sorry about the rain!

Whoa! Look at that distance in those lenses! I am so jealous!

Its so nice to see a picture of pretty Amanda. I like this better than a flower -- tho those are nice too :)

I always find it amazing how close the lens gets to the subject on macro shots like this - you never think so until you come out from behind the camera and take a look. Using a wide-angle is insane - I just got one and I'm centimeters from the subject. Decent shot but a bit soft.

I'm looking into getting extension tubes. But I'm not sure about the manual focus thing. LOL She has beautiful skin!!

Nice candid shot of Amanda. I think I feel like you Ken. I've got a real good dose of the flu and just feel like hibernating.

Lovely lighting and composition. I love pictures of people taking pictures. That would be a neat theme for a month! :)
