From a technical standpoint, this is a really nice shot and the B&W is well done. But what makes this something special is the candid moment you've captured. As I look at this, I get the sense that their world consists of each other and nothing else, those rare moments in a relationship that fade all too fast. Their age only adds to this, and I get the impression of inexperience from the way he has his arm tentatively around her. Great find. |

Great capture to get the exact moment he goes for her purse - works nicely in black and white |

I really love the blend of the real and the processed, adds to the sense that they are in their own little world! |

I think the b&w adds to the sweetness of this. |

This would have made a great shot in the intimacy challenge. Love the B/W processing. |

I like the B&W how it lets the shadows' play come into view.

This is really neat - I like the background effect and the bw conversion - have to learn how to do that (this month I'm doing b&w pix). I don't like the tree trunk on the far left, it detracts from the picture and doesn't give an interesting foreground, imo. I like the sharpness of the people.

Oooooh, I like the effect too! Thank you for explaining how you did it. I want to try that. It's subtle, but it really makes your subject stand out almost 3-dimensionally. What a sweet photo too. They look so unaware of anyone else in their world, don't they?
