Usually I get better score during that time at noon and afternoon.
I always have those bad start in the morning. I don't know about others though.

Creative photography is being trashed, because voters can't tell the difference between Expert editing and creative photography.

Not understanding THAT many low scores. I woke up to 4.88 and mine is good and certinly meets the challenge. I keep saying I'm not going to enter any more. This might be the one that makes me keep my word. HA

Would be nice to have a comment or two to get an idea on what people really think, I didn't think it would be a high scorer but thought it would do better than it's doing now.

For those of you, including myself, that are looking for comments from low voters, forget it. They are either avoiding confrontation and PMs or they just do not have the intellect to explain their expert opinion. And yes after a year on this site I should be use to this but it still pisses me off.

I woke up to a 4.72 and have climbed up a little. So you must be getting to a 4.98 by now.

I know it isn't an exciting shot but it meets the challenge and it was a chance moment. I even took it with my macro lens, which I love every moment I use it.

Eh... Not too bad. If this shot breaks 5, I'd be happy. I know I'm still learning and improving my skills. Now to go check out the rest of the challenge.

I try to comment when I see something I don't like or think could've done better/differently. What bugs me are the comments where they just say stuff like "studio shot" or "Wow" or "what the hell?" Um, yeah? Just how does that help me?

It is a common first reaction comment. First impression type thing.

True critiques, imo, focus on detail of the image, and not the details of the challenge.

Art, in general, is done this way.
