I agree with an earlier post - there are some really amazing shots in this thread.
Here are my attempts at a good sunset...I need to spend more time out as the sun goes down! :-)

I'm usually in the city when the sun sets,and nowhere high enough to catch a good shot.This one was the precursor to a huge storm . |

Took this one last year (driving home from a soccer game, pulled over to the side of the road and shot it). It got buried in all my archives. I just now stumbled on it and thought I'd post it.
Taken with the Canon 1D Mark III with the Canon 100-400 f/4-5.6L IS lens.

This is a horrible scan (shot on film), but this has been my most profitable image. Taken with a Nikon N90s with 24mm Nikkor lens in Utila, Honduras in 1995 or 1996. |
