I am flattered. I share that feeling towards ships and the sea. I am glad I was able to convey that with that image. |

This one barely cracked the top 100 in the challenge, but I think it's awesome-

I'll add one more. This is one of the most dismal looking critters I've ever seen, but the shot has stayed in my mind ever since I saw it.

Thank you so much, as you are such a good person to think that.
I also find it is definately one of my own favorites, in my portfolio, due to the emotions, of love and warmth I feel, when viewing it.....
Originally posted by Pug-H: I would be inclined to add my vote to the mountain goat at the Grand Canyon too, but this one by Sherpet also deserves a mention. The Odd Couple.

I have two, re the ones that always spring to my mind, when thinking of DPC "BEST" images, that I love most, equally.....
by SandyP & by dudephil
My favorite Members portfolios are definately Ursula & Silverscreen as I love so many of their photos, and not one individually, but many equally.....

I've thought about this a hundred times whenever I see threads like this, and it still never changes for me.

It changes over time, but right now I love this kind of stuff, soft and with a lot of movement. |

It's really impossible for me to choose a favourite, but Cutter has an amazing image that has been on my desktop for ages. It evokes tranquility, simplicity, gentleness. I plan to do an oil painting of it one day. Smoothe and gorgeous colours, exceptional composition, and a carefully captured image. I can almost hear the shutter release through the silence.
