Man, after seeing all these I am quickly realizing that I scrapped a whole lot of my photos could have been PS'ed into something really nice.

Not my highest ranking photo in a challenge, but a personal best. I really thought this was going to get hammered for the grain, softness, B&W conversion, etc and it really survived well. The editing is in the photographer's comments.

Wow, this thread is simply amazing. I need to spend more time learning the things that can be done in photoshop (only have elements though) and these before and after shots are really inspiring. Thanks for posting them.

There's very little happening in this thread that cannot be done with Elements. It's mostly a matter of visualizing what you want, and making it happen...

Any of the images that I posted here (and all of the images in my portfolio) have been edited with PS Elements 2.0. In fact I tried Elements 3-6 and always went back to 2.0.
