With the "Zen" principles in mind, Wind, Sky, Water, Earth, Nature, Plants, Animals, Flowers, Rocks, etc, are all elements of "Zen".....

Well I am in, and I just hope the DPC voters like my "Zen" image, as much as I do.

I am awash in zenification! Yay for zen!

I'm so happy I managed to create an image I felt was zen and that I like beyond its life as an entry in the challenge.

I don't even care if other people don't think its zen-ny! I do believe I'll make it a print too.

Ok, I double checked. Zen does not mean nature-made only. It could be man-made, as long as gives the "ZEN" feeling. Something to do with meditation.

So, I am happy again :P

I have an entire fan club. :-) But yes, I send my mom my choices, and she picks one. She doesn't always pick the right one... But I give her vote some weight.

Then every Monday and Wednesday morning at work, I download my entry and email it to coworkers - if I forget, they remind me - "So what have you got entered this week?"

They're much more appreciative of my "work" than the average DPC voter, I might add.... :-)

usually I only have one choice, and show it to some friends, also into photograpy. But, right now everybody's asleep, it's pretty late over here and I had a very late entry.

hope last-minute isn't gonna be bad right now...

It is always nice to have someone to show your challenge photos... and get a pre-vote... or something.

I only have my son. He is about 9 now... and he helps me to choose sometime! While he plays game or watches TV, just points my laptop and goes "That one". Whichever I show and ask "is this the one you choose?" he goes "yes"... without even looking!

Oh well...

I trust my own judgment anyway... most of the time :P
