So then any photographer whose work appears in the presentation has the right to market or distribute the entire presentation and keep any profits gained?

That sounds fair to me, I'm still interested.

I made this modification to #4 in hopes of making that part a little more clear:

4. Each photographer who participates in the project will be given the rights to sell/market/distribute the entire presentation in unmodified form.

If there are more people interested than what the project needs then we could always do two versions - one for males and one for females. Would be interesting to see how the two compare in regards to the interpretation of the poem.

Of course knowing Setz the poem is 'There once was a man from Nantucket".

agreed. i think it would be quite interesting to see how the same poem was interpreted from the male v/s female perspective.

*especially* that nantucket poem. ;)

I think that is a good idea too... get the women to sign up and we will figure out a way to make it happen :)

If I have anything to offer, count me in as a feminine rep for the Lone Star state! :o)

I am also interested in this endeavor. I'm from Florida.

I have a feeling there will be enough interest to make multiple presentations (more than just the male/female versions of the one poem) once everyone sees this thread.

I'd be interested, from New Zealand, which is fairly international.

Bearing in mind that I don't live in a particularly scenic part of the country, sorta much like flat farmland really.

Cheers, Chris H.

If you're in need of another female from the states (Georgia) then I'd be willing to join the project. Not sure if my skills are up to par with some of the folks here but I'd be willing to try. :-)

I'd be interested, if there is enough room left. Maybe let the international people enter more than one to keep the diversity.
female, minnesota

I appreciate the strong response here. The international element of this project is growing nicely. There is good news and bad news. The bad news first:

We won't be able to include everyone in the 12 photo project.

The good news is:

I have another project in mind that we can do that will include more people and photographic skill or accomplishment is not a real requirement. I will post the details of the second project idea after I get the first one rolling.

I would still like to have someone from Australia and South America if possible.

Thanks for the strong suppport :)

Interesting concept......not sure if I'd be of use as pretty much a rank amateur still. Also from New Zealand.
