Paper Napkins & Paper Towels
There should basically be nothing in your image but paper napkins and/or paper towels: they should come very close to dominating the frame. Get up-close and personal with 'em :-)

I feel this discriminates against plates. Plates are paper, too! |

So are newspapers, legal pads, magazines, books, origami, kleenex, maps, purchase receipts, lawsuits, and toilet paper. Let them each have their OWN challenges, I say: let DPC become the paper Tiger of the photography world! |

I've done many photos of paper. These are ones that fit the narrow confines of this challenge.

Paper. I went thru a paper phase. It's fun. On the other hand, Minimal editing...that's a no-go point for me.
.
.
toilet paper works well too
.
plain paper
.
this one started out as a wet paper bag & a couple of peanuts

Well I could change that if people actually WANT this challenge. In fact, I think I will. :-) |

brown wrapping paper (creased, folded, piled, messed) and a strip of tape. not minimal, but the nascent colours were provided by light from two windows.
I do like the idea of restricting this to the p towels and serviettes/napkins, maybe even to white or environmentally correct beige.
Minimal would have been nice, but I won't complain.
