| This is going to be my first under 5.5 score in 5-6 months. Ok, we can have different views about what is art, but 5.4 is too much. Otherwise I must assume that people think that photography is not art, because in a normal challenge it wouldn't get a sub 6 score. |

Voters should open their minds and expand their inner horizons to prevent tunnel vision and realize that art can be something very wide and diversified.

I really really shouldn't have entered. Nothing to do with the score. It's more that I changed my entry at the last moment and It's only AFTER the rollover that I realized I really did like my first choice. Decision making is not my forte. |

I guess I ought to have voted everybody a solid 5 because it's all art and impossible to judge critically...
Even if I argued that every photo I ever took was art, there would still be some I thought it applied to more, which had more meaning, more strength to me. Voting is simply the viewer's tool for quantifying this.
I'm not in this one, but some very nice entries, folks. |

| slowly crept up from 5.2 to 5.7 at 18 votes. Then in 1 foul swoop one vote dropped me back to 5.3 for 19 votes. Must have been a 1. |

| I guess this is a challenge in which the less the photo looks like a photo and more like a painting the better it scores. The never ending confusion of what photographic Art is. I give up. |

Then we're both 'artists' because I'm definitely in personal worst territory - and sinking fast!
