Welcome to this week's "Member of the Week" post. Every week I will post the name of a member and a link to their profile. This will be our Member of the Week. Go have a look at their profile page and/or portfolio. Enjoy their photos, leave some comments and most of all post one or two of their photos in this thread so others can see them and enjoy them. If you like you can also write a little blurb saying why you enjoy this member's photos.
This week's Member of the Week is docpjv. And here are a couple of his photos.

Thanks to all. Not deserving it but surely appreciating.
This on a day when i almost did not get up. The constant hurt is really working on me. just a little update; the cancer is back. There is a new growth on my pelvis and also three smaller growths where it nailed its ugly dirty fingers in innocent areas(metastasized). For the docs to remove the big one on my pelvic bone would mean for me to also sacrifice my right leg.
No. No more. No more cutting. I am alive and living and enjoying every moment of it. Death will really have to find where I am busy having fun, busy living.
This is an emotional day. Thanks again. |

What a portfolio you have.
You have a strong talent for creating a mood with light.
The lighting on this one is magnificent.

I just picked among many, these two shots that should accompany all books about Korea. And be part of great photography in general.
And these two probably describe parts of your life well. You have an amazing look on life from all points of view.

It's lovely to see such a concentration of images by one of my favorite DPCers on display. Peter, I'm sorry to hear the cancer's reappeared, but it's good to see you determined to hang in there and make the best of what time you have.

...and this one which seems to have the same ID no as another
I've tried three times, and the one I'm trying to get up is "Indeed, in deed" .... It appears to have the same ID no as 'Lonely Place to Be'. I would urge people to make the journey, and check out "Indeed, in deed". If you can't find it on Peter's profile, it's in my favorites..... So good to see you here! :)
