These blossoms are big & messy, not photogenic at all (like a lotus blossom). They're famous for their huge leaves. The the botanical garden is very proud of having them, & there is a small photo competition going on right now & they are in bloom. Please give me some criticism, if you can, I'd like to enter a shot of this interesting water lily.
The funny thing is all the stuff I don't see until after I get the shot home for editing, like this little frog. |

Found my parents old canon rebel xs Film camera so I got batteries and a 12 exposure roll to test it out. Lots of dust which I hope is from the lens. I will put a better lens on next time.

I went out shooting today, but can't post anything from it because I'm using two different shots in the upcoming challenges. LOL! Maybe I'll go through my computer & find something I've never edited (which is tons) and post something in a bit.
