This is a comp about shadows, & I think the voters don't generally react well to what they can't see. The elements of the leaf modeled by the sun are just enough to let me know what it is & the moment of sharp detail is just enough to let me create the rest for myself. I give you points for understated minimalism, if there is such a thing. Looks like you had a very nice walk thru the park!

This is so pretty. I think early spring and fall are my favorite times of year for nature shots. You can't go wrong with an amber leaf. I have one today too. :)
