These are just a few I like, in addition to some of the ones that have already been posted (especially Megalomaniac and Interlude).

Hard to pick just 3, as B&W's are my favorites!!! Here are a few from my favorites selections. But I have to say that ALL of the shots listed here so far are excellent.

Incredible...both this photo and your "Interlude" make me wonder how you achieved such beautiful results both in conversion to black and white and in other editing...
How could I improve my photo in my portfolio entitled "Let Weary Arms My Story Tell"? I would love to get your help with this, Pedro (or anybody else)...

No, I know...but they both have similar tonal qualities and similar subject so I was wondering what I could have done with my accordian player to achieve similar quality results either before shooting, during the conversion, or through editing...

Quick Edit
Good eye Mike. The techniques used in the two photos you mentioned are the same - since Alecia taught me how to do it. They are both quadtoned in PS, which gives the greater tonal range. Equally important though is dodging and burning after the fact. I did a quick D/B of yours just for fun. I'm on my laptop at the moment so I only have Elements to edit in, but you get the idea.
great photo.

Cool...I'll have to mess with that a bit. Thanks Pedro! I sent you a PM so that I don't start hijacking this thread!
Now, back to the topic...here's another great one:

These are from my Fav's list.
The lighting, love the light on the mtns.
A balance of dark & light, the mist.
The textures and tones.
The movement and simplicity.
The perspective.
The expression and tones.
The FE effect, the tones and PS work.
Great work people!!!

The duo. tri, quad tone options are greyed out in PS - what's the first step in order to utilize them? |

edit-->mode-->greyscale first. then you can use the duotone option. |
