Hand w/ stuffed animal fur.

Overprocessed it a bit with NI to make it even softer. I realize there's a tiny bit of oversharpening. The compression emphasizes it.

Now, this is a very good concept and a very nice composition. I would have considered making two studies...one soft and one sharp and then spend a good deal of time as to which would convey best my message. Approaching the extreme of the dof it is too soft, but halfway it looks real soft and gentle. All that I am saying is that I would not have sharpenned it to this point. Yet, I am bumping image on concept and composition.

Not sure what the fingers are in... but I can feel the touch. Great interpretation of the challenge.

The idea is great, but the fabric actually looks "prickly" instead of soft (since it's so highly magnified.) Border and white line doesn't work.

I can really feel the softness of this picture... it fits the theme very well and I ranked it at the top of the submissions. Good luck in the contest!

Great detail and a nice job of mixing dark and white without blowing out the white parts. Really good shot.

I like the lighting and that you don't fill the frame with the white stuff. I would have liked to see more of the fingers.
