With the Philosophy of a Pretentious Bastard:

So may wonderful, interesting photographs. I could have awarded at least a dozen thumbs, but that might have seemed excessive, like my cursed vignettes. Thank you all, great fun.

Thanks Paul,

Had a great day out with Diuk shooting for this. It was taken outside the Pierre Soulages museam in Rodez southwest France, art can't get any colder than Pierre Soulages so Paul's wonderful comment is astonishingly accurate. If I could see through the eyes of one photographer here it would have to be those of Ubique's so it is with great honor that I'll be sucking his shiny new thumb. Thank you Paul for helping us see beyond that thin layer of shallow plastic perfection and guiding us to the more subtle and profound depths of the moment.

Could someone tell me where to find directions on how to put Posthumous' ribbons on your home page...thumbnails too.
I have a little stash on my desktop and have tried dragging them on but it does not work. I'd appreciate it!

You need to put a link to the image file in the Bio section of your Profile page (edit using My Home > My Preferences) ... you can find the url/thumbnail link of the image by quoting any post which displays the image and copying/pasting it to your own page.

Thanks Paul... the problem is that Don changed the icons along the way and he gave me the link to the new ones which I copied
and have on my desktop. If I go back into my portfolio and find the ones that he gave me they appear as a question mark. If I try to copy
the new icons that are on my desktop I get a link to a copyright.
It's complicated and that's is why they are not on my home page...although I do love them.
