Photo 6 + 7 - From 2007. I tried to process these the same way, but they didn't quite come out the same. This is an Osprey nest along a highway, and there's usually no one home when I drive by. These two shots were taken about 2 hours apart on the same day. The first time I drove by this silly goose was up there standing proud, which I thought was quite hilarious. When I came by later the Osprey had come home and reclaimed his perch. I wish I had been there to see how he reacted to the goose in the nest.

The frightful weather makes good photos.
It's pretty ugly here too, foggy and cloudy this morning, 77 f and clearing this afternoon : )

The farm we were staying at had a fence along the paddocks, and along the fence line was over a dozen of these spiders, I didn't realise they had horns until i photographed them...spooky looking.  |
