Whether it's a different interpretation of the challenge or a technique that didn't fare well with the voters what's a shot of yours that you really like that scored in the bottom part of a challenge? |
I'd have to post about half my portfolio ... hard to pick one or two out of almost 800 possibilities ... :-( |

General - I hear ya. I can never decide if I'm really bad or just really different than the average bear.
Here's another one of mine from a long time ago:

I seem to like irreverent takes on challenges, which then get suitable irreverent scores.
for Clouds
for Bizzarechitecture
for Orange II

In the challenge "Misunderstanding" but it was "Misunderstood" ;o) |

For "Rock Song Titles" I went all Peter Max Poster-style. I loved the result. It didn't go over very well :-)
And, of course, my self-portrait-as-raindrop from my early days...
Still one of my favorites, and still my lowest score ever.

I was super excited about this but clearly entered it in the wrong challenge. |

Just two.
First my third entry (4.9111). I like it and thought it'd do better.
And my current motion entry which I'll post on rollover. Currently 4.4'ing, which is genuinely surprising me.

I have a pair in my bottom 20.
Hidden Gem challenge. Probably one of my fave pics I have taken of my girl of all time. This image looks awesome printed out hanging in our living room.
Pet Portrait challenge - I had such a good laugh over this one. And when the next time I have enough money comes around an advanced edit version to add more black to the bottom will be printed out on canvas.
I knew both would tank. |

I thought this might have been DPC friendly so I was surprised it did so poorly. Not one of my favorites but if people could let me know where I went wrong it would be appreciated.
This however, is one of my favorites that finished in 213th place for Oct FS

So many to choose from!
One I really liked...but not the voters.
I thought this would look good in the Loo. :-D |

I haven't got that many entries, but:
I really liked this picture and somehow it DNMC'ed on innocent bystanders... I thought the birds on the disappeared house and the title would do the trick, but it didn't.
I love the comments, though, especially from tanguera.
Not many Lord of the rings fans to relate to this :).

So many of the ones I love have tanked that it's hard to choose.

There's a lot of really creative shots in this thread so far. It's fun to look through them. |

O, so many. But here are some of the lowest scoring that I like (as opposed to the truly crap ones that deserved it...)
- Place: 204 out of 205, Avg (all users): 4.1748, Avg (commenters): 3.6667
- Place: 222 out of 238, Avg (all users): 4.1988, Avg (commenters): 6.6667
- Place: 182 out of 187, Avg (all users): 4.3073, Avg (commenters): 5.0625
- Place: 487 out of 519, Avg (all users): 4.6583, Avg (commenters): 5.5000
There are lots more, but these are the ones where I truly think they deserved better... sigh... ;> |

I hadn't seen the Rock Song one, 'cause I was gone for so long, but it's lovely. And I've always loved that glorious self-portrait. |
