I stayed up late to try to shoot the shuttle launch last night, so I am too sleepy to comment tonight. A storm was between the Cape and here anyway, so I would not have been able to see much of the launch from here. I made the best of it by shooting a few of the storm with the 300mm, which was all that I had with me.

Been trying all summer to catch one of these little fellows hovering......no luck!
They have *such* a bad attitude! We have three that come to the feeder, and they're constantly chasing each other away.

I think I'm kinda gonna be glad when this month is over.....I have seen morer weird stuff this month!!!
I mean, I don't live in a beach town or tropical paradise.....what the heck is this pirate lookin' guy with a parrot on his shoulder doing outside the pizza shop?????

I was too rushed to shoot anything today, so here is a shot of the place where I work a lot this time of year. A lot of the photos that I have been posting were shot here. I was flying last month with my son when I shot this. He loves to fly airplanes, and I love to shoot photos, so we go flying as often as possible. The world looks so tidy and nice from up there.
