Mine aren't.
These are my top six vote-rated shots:
     
Ignoring Challenge relevance, these are my personal faves - and ones I'd be most likely to put on my wall:
     
I've noticed that abstracts do far less well in general on this site though, but it hasn't stopped me. ;)

My top rated are not necessarily my favorites.
Favorites of mine with very, very low scores...

I would have to say no.
Since joining DPC in July of 2003 I have been trying to concentrate on improving my photographic and photoshop skills more than submitting for the challenges.
Although I really do enjoy submitting to the challenges :)
Some members that have been a great help and inspiration to me are:
crabappl3
tomlewis1980 (I do not talk to Tom as much as I want though!)
kiwi
jacko
Gordon
jmsetzler
And many others I may have left off.
Thanks for all the help and inspiration :)
I probably will submit more as my skills improve.
Some I like that I have done recently are:
Macro
Photoshop
  
Repair
Night Shots
This is an older one but since printing it out I love this shot:
Challenges
   
I hope others feel I have improved also since joining DPC :)

My fav's don't do well usually, but I am starting to sell out, by entering things I think dpc voters will like vs. shots I like... hmm maybe I should think about this more... ps.. usually ones do well here, I find well done before and a little boring to be honest ...ikes i'm in trouble now : )

my highest rated isnt my favorite, but most folks i know seem to like it the best
my favorites aren't entries...

I haven't entered that many challenges but the ones I like always score crazy low. these are my faves that did not fare well in challenges.
   
There are others that are currently in various challenges that are getting hammered. Guess I'll post 'em later!

My top rated shot got a blue ribbon... i like it a lot but it's not my favorite.
My On the Edge entry really is my favorite
Other favorites:
Macro III
Simplicity
Scents and Aromas
Another favorite is in the December Free Study Chal

I think this shows that we could probably do more to satisfy ourselves creatively in the process of a challenge than just to win votes! Of my top 6 rated shots I'd probably only hang this one (which I do like) but it's not the kind of thing I normally put on my wall.
... and maybe you've run out of shots to post Kosta! ;D |

My second highest rated photo is my favorite. I really liked how this one turned out.
