 This is my personal favorite still life image taken for DPC. It is clean and neat.

It was taken with the camera mounted on a tripod with a side mounted softbox for lighting. Brightness, contrast and color adjusted. Neat Image applied.

Nice use of coloured ribbon. Ribbon well positioned. Like that shadow is soft against the hard edges of the ribbon. Ribbon is too close to left and top of frame for my preference. Feels too hemmed in.

Very clean sharp simple colored.....well technically perfect.

I love the simplicity of this particular shot. The composition is gorgeous and the clarity is staggering. Visually aesthetic! Fits challenge very well. I think you well deserve a "Ribbon" indeed. My highest scored picture. Good luck!

unused infinity idea? negative space? shadows? i guess it works for still life as well :) i like the color and you did a nice job getting the white background. i'd like a more dramatic shadow maybe.
