ok obviously this shot wasn't that great...but with no comments i would appreciate it if someone could provide some reason on where i messed up. I used 2 calumet 400's to light the statue...is it a problem of being blown out or is it just boring because it's on a white background? Would appreciate anyones input. Thanks!

OK this one was taken & edited today -- just finished a little while cropping & uploading it after being out all day w/my daughter-
thoughts? very first impressions? |

A crowd on their way to an outdoor concert. I used my wide lens, a high ISO, and a Fonged flash. I had the camera on a tripod and was standing in the middle of the street holding the tripod as far in the air as I could manage (firing with a cord).
