Mine was 11th highest out of 43. And I just noticed that I didn't score anything lower than 5!

I must have chosen poorly, mine was 23rd out of 40. Somewhat surprised but overall I think the numbers go down when compared to really good images. It was so bad the trolls left it alone....lol

still happy with my photo though. I thought it was one of my best :)

50 challenges entered for 2007:

Highest at 7.8361

Lowest was 4.8345

Best of was 5.4217

41st (18%) place out of my 50 2007 entries (ranked by the voters)

BUT

1st (100%) place out of my 50 2007 entries (ranked by the dude in my mirror). *grin*

Mine didn't place so well, but the score wasn't too bad. There were some great photos in the challenge.

ditto. i thought that was the "challenge" of that challenge anyways. to find a photo that you find best and not to choose the one that you thought the majority of voters found best...cus that would be dnmc! :)))


I say, do whatever you want. So I chose what represented the best of 2007 for me in my personal life instead of photographically.

Best of 2007 was my highest for the year and as being second highest score of all my submissions.....very happy.

3rd highest ever at 6.8something. Not my best of the year though of more general appeal, I thought.

I had 57 entries in 2007 (58 counting the "Best of 2007"). My highest score was 7.0422, my lowest score was 5.1384. My Best of 2007 entry scored 6.52, I had 10 entries that scored higher than it in 2007.

I submitted to 36 challenges in 2007 and finished higher than my best of entry 15 times. Honestly some of my higher scores were crap. they either had no soul, or were basic snapshots I was able to process into something ok. With the major exception being this



Which was my favorite shot of the year. My best of entry was my second favorite and while i hoped it would score higher, I am not surprised in the least bit since it is not very DPC friendly.Btu I did get some wonderful comments so it is worthwhile.

My entry:


Scored: 6.5374

That one was 26th best out of 48 total entries I had last year. It came close to my 2007 average which was 6.54.

Scores seem higher in the Best of ... challenges. I might even say 5.8 is the new 5.5. :)

Mine is my new 4th highest at 5.9053

I was thinking of entering my highest scorer but I liked the outdoor shot better than the studio shot, personally.

Does anyone think that my studio shot might have done better in the "Best of 2007" ?

Oh ... wait a minute ... I was not allowed to enter a photo that was entered in a previous challenge anyways so this is a moot point ... bleh

Mine was my new highest!



I'm chuffed, as though it's not a particularly high score, I entered it because it was MY favourite photo from '07, and it's nice to see it at the top.

Yay :)
