I was always fascinated by the amount of old building like this in Missouri. The story the building could tell if it could talk. My parents lived across the street from an old run down house that had been there since the turn of the century. The whole building had kind of sagged in the middle. I always wondered what it would look like if someone decorated it for Halloween.
This is an awesome capture of how something run down can be so photogenic. The Black and White forces you to look at the details on this old home, and not on the colors of the photo. For that, the BW treatment suites it perfectly.
Another great capture here. I can almost hear the sound of cracking wood as the roof on this old barn sags.
Schools sure have a come a long way since these days. Any idea when this was built?
