Thanks! The textured layers are so much fun to do. I want to do them all the time. ETA I hope you will try one this weekend, if you haven't already.

		| I've been shooting a lot of stuff that can be used as textures and just as soon as I can get back to my laptop to dump the card and possibly upload, I'll stick 'em in a folder and you can have whatever you wish. Hope to play with a few myself at some point! |

Good work. I like the suggestion of graffiti & tne Renaissance feel to the model's face in the window. |

Love to know what you think.

		| I put some shots that can be used as textured overlays in a folder called, oddly enough, Texture, in my portfolio. Feel free to use them at will. You may want to desat them, fade them, resize them - whatever works. |

I used a simple headshot and added a few things for this. The viens are a layer of cracked mud. :)

Thank you so much "joynim" for the explination earlier in the thread.( I hadn't read it till now) I am sooo glad someone realizes there are beginners who HAVE NO CLUE where to start. All the tutorials I have read expect you to already know how to get from point A to point B
then they start the explination. Hey what can I say...I'm not the brightest star in the sky! Again thanks for taking the time to explain! |

The only reason I realise about the beginners explanation is beacuse I have been there so many times and still do! For some rerason I somehow figured out ( with a bit of help from a couple of peeople ) how to put the texture layer on. I knew there would be other people like me so I am gald to be of help :) Now you have to post your textured picture that you made ;) |

Maybe not exactly what you were thinking of with 'grunge', it was a picture of a flower i did a lot of grunge stuff too and then screwed it over.

 Makes a nice 8x12 print :D.
