I almost feel guilty saying anything negative at all, since you did this out of the goodness of your heart and for free, but you DID ask for feedback, so here it is:
1)Thank you for doing them, that is very nice of you.
2)As long as you manage to get to the right audience (i.e. level of skill), your tutorials are very useful indeed! You go over it too quickly for a total beginner, and a pro obviously doesn't need this, but for someone who knows their way around photoshop and just can't figure out how to do these textures, your videos will be very helpful.
3) The video quality isn't all that hot, but if someone knows photoshop, they'll be ok..... they know what you clicked on, and you always did mention what you were doing, so no problem there. The audio quality was rather good.
4)Perhaps it would be a good idea to close all windows that you won't be using (e.g. history) just to keep clutter and confusion to a minimum.
5) I would have liked to see a "before and after" shot - side by side - at the beginning and end of the video.
6) Try keeping the sniffles to a minimum ;-)
&) Overall a lovely job, and I'll look forward to seeing more if you're prepared to create them. Thank you for making that effort. |
