Salsa Recipe for those that asked:
All amounts are mearly suggestions as I just kind toss in what looks to be the right amount. so...
Tomatos - 4 to 5 medium sized.
1 Bell Pepper (seeded)
1 medium onion, I grew whites this year so yeah.
Hot pepper of your choice, I use Jalapenos or Sarranos (sp?)
Cucumber, roughly 3/4 of the weight of the onion you used
Red Wine Vinegar, about 2 glugs for me.
Oregano
Garlic
Cumin (camino, same thing)
Ground Red Pepper, start out light on this one you can always add more!
Chili Powder.
There ya have it, of course it is ever changing as I like to try different things to see how they work.
Enjoy!!!

Hmmmm. That sounds great and no cilantro which I find can easily overpower everything else. I'll try it when I get home. Thanks Jack.

Day 9 - The Pipe Dream
I was goofing around for today's shot but when I got to looking at it I thought it had one of the current challenges written all over it. After rethinking and having very little faith that the DPC voters would understand the shot let alone the title, I opted to take my chances elsewhere on the net and make this my day 9.
What you see is nearly a from the camera shot with only Smart Photo fix, Sharpen and a crop.

Well I'm from Lakeland Fla. actually, I just currently reside in Oklahoma, lets see begins with "p" that must be Pundit Salsa Creator? LOL. Self respecting Texan...I think Ron is from Tejas...as for Oregano, well if it tastes good do it!!! ROFL. I love Oregano, I put it in scrambled eggs!! LOL. All in good fun!!

Not much time today, but still playing catch up...The sky looked like it might make a decent shot, but I didn't get the clouds in focus...Oh well. |

Hey, I resemble that Chuck Norris statement :)
No really, I'm everything IT in my building so I have to do desktop support as well (poor me) but 7 out of ten times I will go to someone's desk stare (or do the hocus pocus thing with my hands)at their computer and poof! I get the ol it wasn't doing that minute ago line. |
