Once again, it's a grey, murky, rainy, etc...etc... day in the UK. I am depressed because I was planning on spending the day out and about with my camera but am feeling totally uninspired because of the weather. Is there really any point in even going out today? If you have any 'murky' weather photographs taken in 'not so ideal' conditions, that have actually turned out well, PLEASE POST THEM HERE AND INSPIRE ME! |

I am in Milton Keynes and know exactly what you mean. What part of Bucks are you in? Think I may go around Willen or something like that as they have dragon boat racing there today. Do you fancy an impromtu MK GTG |

Hi Jon
I'm in High Wycombe but unfortunately have to stay close to home today. Why? Moto GP at 12h15! Another one of my vices. Lol. Adding you to my favourites though for possible future GTG? I'll probabaly take a wander into the woods after the Moto GP. Would love to see dragon boat shots posted though, if you do go. |

No worries, Buckinghamshire is such a weird shape that people can be in the same county and miles away from each other
If you are looking for inspiration why not try some macro work? Can be done inside with reasonable lighting
Enjoy the GP and yep it would be good if we and a few others could arrange a GTG sometime

I live in Newfoundland and we get a lot of fog and rain. I never used to go out shooting in the fog because I figured the shots would be terrible. But I was wrong!

In many situations I'd prefer the muck over a bright sunny day.
It's beautiful. Take advantage of it. |

In Seattle, we have some good weather, and a little bad weather, but it's the in between weather that's hard to shoot in.
And here's one from Scotland I like.

This shot was taken just seconds before a heavy downpour. |

Makes you not want to see another clear blue sky. Zeuszen is a 100% right. Actually 99%. 100 is too perfect.
