I added the flowers from another photo shot at the same time and then just processed like I normally do.

Btw, it's a long exposure of a lake. The two things at the top are flotation/buoys for divers. I should have probably just removed them.

This, for example, I gave an 8. Quite a compelling and intriguing photograph. There's a conversation going on here, but you have to listen for it.

Holy crap - I just saw this now for the first time. This is fan-freekinTastic. I would be insane not to add this to my faves.

I gotta tell you, this is sorta my kind of picture but I didn't like those dots on the top. I gave you a 6.

Have I just unwittingly discovered the mystery of peculiarly low scores? I returned to this photo as a result of a mention in one of the forum threads, and could 'remember' giving this a 7; I certainly thought 7, but for some reason I have pressed the 4 button..... Apologies, and remain content in the knowledge that your score should really have been .001 (ok, I haven't done the arithmetic) higher!

I don't think I would have scored the photo as high without the buoys. They definitely add to the composition here even though they are somewhat ambiguous. I don't think they hurt the overall effect. Again, Great work!

Really like the toning her and those flowers are a great touch. What a concept :)
About those floating thingys, I barely saw them when I scrolled down to see the rest of the image ;) So yeah, I'd agree to clone them out if you ever decided on a re-edit.

Had you removed the floatie things, this would take on a blandness I think. They're needed here. Of course, I could be wrong. You get awesome scores - I do not. :-)

Completely awesome. Totally surreal! I love the extreme, sharp details in the rock and the flowers, and how everything just sort of fades into misty fuzziness. A phenomenal image!

Odd. Looks like a lake of cement or slate. Brilliant focus on the rocks though.

I like the concept quite a bit. I think that maybe, just maybe, if you went a touch closer and didn't include the two rocks (are they rocks) or logs at the top, it might work better. They draw too much attention away from the places that need attention in this image. ~7

Flowers & the stone work look good, the water looks too eerie, super processed.
