I hvae no idea what you are doing wrong?
But if you hover your cursor over the thumbnail image in your portfolio, you will see the number come up at the botom of your browser (just use the last 6 digits of the address) or if you open the photo page then the last six numbers in the address bar are what you need to put between the [thumb][/thumb]

Ok...Day 5's entry. Now, to get back to adding comments to everyone else's wonderful shots! I'm having trouble keeping up with it all, but I'm working on it! Only 15 more pages to go! |

There's no way you can comment on everyones entries, there are just way too many.
All I'm trying to do is for every photo I post, I'm trying to comment on the ten images that are below mine.
I usually end up doing more, but if I comment on 10 for every entry, then I'll be happy.
That'll be at least 300 comments by the end.

day 6 ..
1.10 sunday morning ...
i went to sydney with my daughter ali yesterday ... i have to put up with being told to hurry up when i'm taking photographs ... but i was able to get quite a few anyway ... i've put a couple in my portfolio if you want to have a look ... i'll be working on more of the images from yesterday, later ...

I go through 80% of the photos posted and comment on those that grab me in some way. That's the only way I can even *think* of not getting overwhelmed completely.
It's good for us in this project not to put the pressure of commenting on EVERYTHING. Don't do it. Do what you can, when you can. That's all anyone can ask. |

After you hit the image icon just enter the number nothing more. You only need the [thumb] thing if you are entering directly in the window the way you have been.
