Every year, just after the crabapple trees bloom, we have a big storm that knocks all the petals off the tree.

So simple and understated but with such minute detail. The background (what is it!?) is very interesting with all of it's texture and tone. Very nice series!

What a delightful series of shots. Odd to say, but I'm glad that you get that deluge every year because it got us these shots to glimpse.

Looks like a little boat floating on an India ink sea. Exquisite detail. I love the rich black - what were your lighting conditions? What IS the background?

interesting collection here, and I say collection because I think these would work in a series even in a gallery.
Excellent.

i've looked at all the images in your photographers comments and altho i really like the one with the four leaves i think i understand why you chose this one ... the focus is very sharp on those droplets and there's some amazing patterns going on in the water and leaf ... i'm personally not that keen on the composition, but to crop this you'd lose all those excellent patterns ... :)

Very nice tones, perfectly focused shot. I think playing with the composition could make this shot even nicer.

Just an unbelievably good conversion choice here. It gives an impression of this beautiful source of cleanliness and nature, floating in a sea of oil and industry.

I like the shine of the leaf and droplets, and also of the water where it isn't indented. I agree with Karen, I'm not very fond of the centred composition(s).

Love the darkness of the water and the detail in the petal and the water drops. Not so fond of the centered composition. Lotsof nice outtakes as well.
