Painful start... but it looks like I'm in good companies. Maybe this one will be weird and go up instead of down over the week?

(In all fairness, I flipped through a chunk of the entries really quick - score's about right, really, maybe a touch high)

I know it will settle down a bit, but for now, let the bliss last...
The other side of the planet will be waking up soon, while this side starts to go to bed...

Yay! Gonna' use both eyes too? lol

I'll even switch to INXS - Suicide Blond - the beat is about right ,
and nearly as funny to watch them as Justin Timberlake's song.

Ouch!

Managed to find a bug in the DPC Vote Calc and get a 1 vote all at the same time.

Dropped from 5.1250 to 4.6667.

meh ...i finally got a comment and its obvious that the human eye can not perceive my shallow dof. I suppose it all looks too perfectly in focus. Who knew? Dont let it bother you.

and the comment said shame it wasn't all in focus.
Wonder if the voter knows it is depth of field.

Firstly Welcome back, missed your great work.

Im getting comments like not shallow DOF, I mean, it ain't SWIMMING in it but if it makes the subject POP then it works for me..

Im happy with my score

I'm getting comments about having to little of the subject matter in focus.

If I had the whole subject in focus then it wouldn't be any shallow dof!!

I disagree. I think that it is possible to be too shallow. The contest does not say to make it as shallow as possible, only to use it.

Judging by the scores in this thread I'm glad I didn't enter. :P
