Started out at 4.9 steady climb to 5.2 thaen Wham! 4.8....I have to stop watching these things it will drive you nuts.

well actually it would be shallow depth of field if the background was 100m away and blurry. if the challenge was a close up with shallow depth of field - i'd think they would have labled it a macro challenge...

the idea is to use a blurred background to make your subject pop off the page - that can be done at 10mm away or 100m away - the result should be a blurred background separating your subject from it to be a tight fit in this challenge.

Doing OK for an f/5.6 shot.

I was gonna shoot my daughter "snorkeling" in low-cut grass, but it's cold and I'm allergic to sub-5 scores. ;-)
