Was that the one with Christopher Reeves? When he goes back in time to be with her...something about a coin...I think I sort of remember it, but when I first saw it, I had just barely moved to the US, and even though I didn't speak a lot of English, I remember being emotional!

I'm with Gayle and Rikki - Field of Dreams makes me blubber. I think it's something that really speaks to fathers and sons. It's not a baseball movie at all!
Hey dsmeth, I'm in Madison. How far are you from the Iowa/Ill/WI corner? Maybe we should do a Dyersville GTG sometime?? |

Not that I did--was just wondering. :P

Yikes - forgot about that one. Guaranteed to get a room of football fan tough guys to share a kleenex box and dab their eyes. |

Over the past few years, I find I've become like Ursula! I'll tear up at any touching scene.
Hilary and Jackie, Life is Beautiful, Frida, What Dreams May Come, Good Will Hunting (I tear up listening to the Elliot Smith songs from that one!), Saving Private Ryan...
And yes, Ursula, I, Robot got me, too. :)

Yea, well, I cry very easily.
Most recent tear jerkers
Finding Nemo (even after watching it like a gazillion times)
Bambi (see comment after Nemo)
Top Gun
Pete's Dragon (see Nemo comment)
Titanic
Fried Green Tomatoes
Steel Magnolias
The movie about the football team that was forced to desegregate (Remember the Titans, maybe?)
The movie about the navy dude that was abused as a child and had to work through it with a counselor.
Keep in mind, I don't just cry the first time I see a movie. I cry every freakin' time.

lol, My friend just married one of the actresses in that movie, Kelly Stables (the redhead). She's a sweetheart, not like her character in the movie. She also plays "Samara" in The Ring 2. |

Old Yeller
I cried for weeks after seeing that as a little kid, then braved to watch it again a few days ago, but I still cried like a little girl.
