"The Way We Were"

//www.imdb.com/title/tt0070903/

First movie I ever cried at, and still do every time I see it.
Recently saw "For the Boys"

//www.imdb.com/title/tt0101902/

Real tear jerker. Needed an extra Prozac

Hey, what about Billy Elliott?

I love that flick. Every time I watch it, I still cry. It's one of those gotta follow your dreams/father & son stories. *sigh*

Oh, yeah...and The Patriot, Sweet Home Alabama (the scene when she finds out that her husband followed his dreams and set up his own glass shop so that he could be good enough for her), and the last season of Sex & the City.

For me a few are:

Saving Private Ryan - When Tom Hanks dies
Forest Gump - Scene at Jenny's grave (That one is real tough)
Armageddon - Wedding in the credits
Brave Heart - Several scenes
Blade Trinity - Jessica Biel crying over her slain friend
Green Mile - Execution scene
Million Dollar Baby - Pert-near the last hour of the movie!

What Dreams May Come is my alltime favorite movie. Its easy to understand why it is such a favorite here though - the imagery! The color! The pure emotional punch of every frame setup! Guh. Plus, Christie and Annie are so much like my husband and myself its slightly nauseating. :)

Dancer in the Dark. Pure emotional Rape. If you dont lose it at the end of this movie about how much a mother will do for her child - your stone.

I second the vote for the Long Walk Home. And Rabbit Proof Fence.

I do cry every time when Lilo and Noni say goodbye in Lilo and Stitch, but thats just 'cause my family had foster kids when I was little and painfull goodbyes were big parts of their stories...

I cried for weeks after seeing that as a little kid, then braved to watch it again a few days ago, but I still cried like a little girl.

Oh that reminds me....

"Where the red fern grows"....read the book about a year ago....bawled my eyes out reading it !

just remembered another one:

"Man on the Moon" (Reese Witherspoon about 14 or 15 years old...man....bawled my eyes out on that one at the end)

one more:
"Ode to Billy Joe" (I think that was the name)

Yeah talk about a chic flick and great "date movie"... it's got about everything... i love the scene at the door where he plays the music while flipping through the cards... and that time he said "I'm doing it for self preservation". Oh man!

Another vote for "Brian's Song". I was very young when it aired, and saw my father( a real "manly" man) break down in tears...for the first time..:-)

I cry at almost anything (even some commercials) but the one movie that turns on the waterworks to the point of sillyness is Field of Dreams :)

Hmm...

My Dog Skip
The Passion
The Land Before Time
Battle Royale
Big Fish

Also...

The ending to the Six Feet Under series ("Breathe Me" plays during the end when every character is dying. Oh...such a beautiful song...)
