QUESTION!!!!
How do you edit your storefront?
I'd like to include a message on mine similar to nshapiro's...
"All sales profits for the month of September will be donated to the Red Cross Relief fund for Katrina victims."

I put this on my home page at smugmug. So if anyone sees a tracer referalfrom rexsmugmug you know where it is coming from.....if this is against site regulations let me know and I will remove it. If anyone wants their name removed just pm me and I will remove it.
For the month of September a few of us over at DPC has put up all the profits from the sale of our prints to the relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina. Here are the links to each person's prints. Please take the time to check them out. Not only do you help the relief efforts but youget a beautiful print to hang on your wall.

Under "My Home" go down to my preferences. On the left hand side where you upload your portfolio picture there is a box for your DPC Prints bio. You can add it there. :-)

i'll be more than happy to make my prints available to be downloaded. i have a lot of prints available in my Pbase gallery, too. just PM me if you want one and i will e-mail you the file or put it in a private gallery on Pbase. i have a Paypal account or you can arrange to wire the money to my bank account.
i know my print prices are a little pricey so if you can't afford them, let me know and i'll drop the price. remember...every little bit helps.

That was a lot of copying and pasting.....if you see in the referal link rexsmugmug it is from my smugmug site. If anybody wants to go there and just copy and paste it intt theirs I am fine with that. If you see a lot of referals it is just because I was testing my links.

| I have never put up any images to sell, but I will be doing so shortly (for this drive) Currently everything in my apartment is packed as I am moving tomorrow, including my external harddrive that has all my images on it. Howeveer, once I get my computer up and running I will post my prints. All profits will be donated until Christmas and frankly if anyone still wants prints after that I'll keep donating the profits. |

At your home on //www.dpchallenge.com
Move your mouse over "My Home" Click My Preferences......
In there on the right you will see DPCPrints Bio Edit it there

I've added the list of other people to my prints page. I will update it periodically as people join in.
It would of course, save us all work if someone kindly keeps updating the whole list and posting it.
Do you suppose we could get D&L to post a list on the main page?

I do not have any DPC Prints setup yet, however I didn't want to be left out in using some of my work to help our fellow Americans. So you can go to //www.shutterfly.com/pro/MPRProductions/Sale and order prints and every penny I make between now and 12/31/05 will be donated to the American Red Cross for the relief of the Katrina victims. It is the least I can do.

I have a suggestion:
If someone buys a print using a regular link only 50% of the profit will go to the seller (to be passed on to relief charities).
If they use a referral link, that increases to 75% of profit.
Firstly, I'd suggest, if not already doing so that everyone provides the referral version of their links:
e.g.
//philipdyer.dpcprints.com/
instead of
//www.dpcprints.com/profile.php?USER_ID=19952
Secondly, it may also be worth contacting Drew and Langdon, if not already done - forgive me if I'm suggesting the obvious - to ask about that other 25%. The two of them were exceedingly generous and donated that 25% in full when I sold prints to raise funds for charity some months ago.
