Larry blacked out after that. He woke up about... 4 hours later to find himself sitting on a bench between two strange beings.
They did not speak. They communicated with him using telepathy. They told him he would be taken to their mothership and he could bring his camera. Larry thought this would be his chance to get some ribbon winning shots.
Little did he know...

Snake.
It was gone! Disappeared! This was his childhood pet that had been with him through thick and thin and even though he was not previously mentioned in the story, Larry adored his snake.
"Oh well." Larry thought. I will find companionship elsewhere. Larry walked into a nearby tavern and discovered his old high school pal sitting there at the bar.

when he look towards the sound, he saw an apple the size of a small whale being dropped into a nearby tank.
