Challenge: Surrealism (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Olympus C-2100UZ
Location: behind my house, under the eaves
Date: Mar 2, 2005
Aperture: f2.8
ISO: 400
Shutter: 0.5 sec
Date Uploaded: Mar 3, 2005

This was taken at night under the eaves of my house. I shot up at ice cascading from the roof with lighting behind me in the house. I used multiple settings and exposures, also used some small amount of camera shake to check out the results...there were many interesting shots; this was one I liked; cropped it and increased saturation a little.

Looks more like cars than mars, but I don't travel that much. I think I will have to join others in assessing this as abstract rather than surrealistic. The surrealists for the most part allowed for the easy recognition of their subject matter. As an abstract, I most find it interesting in terms of how it was done, not from an aesthetic compositional point of view. A 4.
