what happened to all the comments??? It seems that I only get comments in challenges when somebody comes out and says "I've commented on 100% of the photos in this challenge..." then suddenly, everybody feels like they have to do it too....

| Despite being my favorite submission, mine isn't doing so hot (4.1-ish). I guess what I saw in the picture when I sumitted the shot was just a theme that carried in my own head; not something blatently obvious to the rest of the population. Can't expect 'em to read my mind when they look at the picture, I suppose. I'm still a newbie. I'll learn. |

I was/am expecting a DQ request, but it hasn't happened yet. Reasonable number of comments, so I'd guess I'm in the mid-low 6's.

Well, I expected 6 ish, my comments are good with reference to a blown out spot which frustrates me, if only I could adjust but I couldn't eliminate it with burning as it's a basic challenge.....I guess some people will mark it down because of it without thinking of the rules.

Well, this is my second challenge. I finished witha 4.8 average in the pain contest. I was hoping to break 5 with this one. I still have lots to learn, it will eventually come.

In this challenge, I entered a picture that I knew was so far "outside the box" that most people wouldn't get how it related to the topic. Thus, I was prepared for a humble score:

I wasn't going to say anything 'cause I didn't want to jinx the 7+ score my photo has had all day, but now it's dropping back down so I guess it doesn't matter. :)
I'm really surprised that it was doing so well. I wasn't even going to enter because I didn't think anyone would like it, but I wanted an excuse to click the update button. I must be a glutton for punishment.
It's currently at 6.9671 with a bunch of nice comments.

Well, if that score holds up, you will probably end up with a Blue Ribbon.

I had ten minutes and decided my photo was not going to do well in the contest....and decided to yank it.
Then my computer started acting up (again) and I was unable to access the site.
Score is pretty bad. :(
But its a fabulous contest.....great entries ! |
