Not as exciting as three add-shots, that's for sure ;-)

This is only my second challenge (my first being self portrait which is still in progress). Now I wasn't thrilled with my final submission, since the downsizing made it look alittle "funny' for lack of a better term, haha... However, I'm right at the brink of 5.. at like 4.9 something... My score has been rising since the challenge started, and my only hope is to have a score above 5 by the end of it all.....

Wish me luck!

OK, good luck neighbor!

I pretty much dismissed the Bridge challenge since I couldn't get to NYC, where the REAL bridges live. As I was driving to work on Tuesday (without my camera) I noticed three different bridges that might have made good possibilities. Serves me right for not paying attention.

Good Luck

We have the same camera, we don't place as high as all the fancy cam's, but we hold our own!! :)

I "inherited" this camera from my husband... when he upgraded to a nikon D70.... he's also a member here, but would probably like to not be associated with me, lol (although as far as this site goes he's new here too)

I like the camera, but am already feeling a bit jealous when we go for walks on the beach and he gets better shots... especially when we're trying to get shots of seagulls in the air...I can't get them unless it's 75% pure luck... shutter delay, ya know???

We'll keep truckin' though!

Thanks Peter, mine is creepin up a little, shame its a decent picture,I'll stay in the box the next challenge :) although it does have a bridge in the picture!
Good luck to you.

Out off all the non-transportation bridges I've voted for only two have I voted low, and one of those two were because I didn't get the reference (and therefore didn't understand the picture) and other one that I thought was lacking the connection (even though both pictures were great pictures as pictures, I just didn't get the references.

I'm a little nobody newbie novice though.

All the comments i've gotten I've agreed witha and right now I'm at 4.6. A couple of them were things that I had problems with too and just didn't take the time to fix.

I am not telling you how to vote, but to me, giving a 1 is a rare thing. Since you are new I'll tell you how it goes, I've never seen anyone end up with anything over an 8 for a final score. A final score of 6 - 7 usually means a ribbon or at least top 20. Its nice to hear you gave so many 10's, but to me a 10 is abosolute perfection, something you see in a magazine (and there are a few in this challenge). Anyway, welcome aboard and keep giving us those 10's!! lol

I admit the way I do voting is every picture starts at a 5, from there I either go up or down.

I'm not too sure if a Nikon Coolpix 5400 is considered a fancy camera or not but e301 seems to be taking some awesome shots with one and I'd say that it's not one of the "big dogs"

I noticed on this site that so many of my favorite images are coming from cameras that I didn't think could capture such beautiful stuff and one or two of the cameras I've owned myself.

Go figure!

Still holding steady at 5.3 something.....

You have rated 91 of 422 images (22%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 41 images (10%) in this challenge.

Slowly making my way through this massive challenge. For some reason, it's more fun to vote/comment when I haven't entered a challenge - I guess because I don't have any preconceived notions on what I expect to or want to see :)

I used to strive for 6 and above, and used to hit it. Now I just wish for 5.0 :(

So very close to 7 - just a few more 7's (or higher) should to do it!

I haven't voted yet, which one is yours so I can give a 7 ;)

no, if you are below 7, however many 7's will not take you over 7 - you'll just asymptotically approach it.
Sorry to be a pest, a physicist inside of me just could not resist :)
congrats on approaching another r-word!

The bugs are not happy about all those derogatory comments; therefore, they will be making a comeback in Separation and in the 70s...

Hmm... the mousetrap didn't work, the Beamer only distracted you for a minute, and your camera limitations don't seem to be much of a handicap. Out of fairness to others, kindly refrain from using your hands to operate the camera. Thank you.

If I had any idea how to add the little face giving a raspberry, you'd get one from me! :)

I'm very happy with it so far! Doing a lot better than the last two challenges (pain and road signs)

In the [quite likely] event that you also ribbon with your feet, we would ask you to avoid shooting challenge entries on any day that ends in "Y".

Good thing I speak French:
Lundi, Mardi, Mercredi, Jeudi, Vendredi, Samedi, Dimanche.

German:
Montag, Dienstag, Mittwoch, Donnerstag, Freitag, Samstag, Sonntag.

and Spanish:
Lunes, Martes, Miércoles, Jueves, Viernes, Sábado, Domingo.

Basically, you're hosed!

(Good thing for online translators on the second 2 - first one's real though)

I probably shouldn't post this 'cause it's like begging to get dumped on, but...

My little pic is back over 7 again!

Pretty darn good for a shot that I wasn't even going to take in the first place, and wasn't going to enter after I did take it.

It got close to hitting 7.1 for a while. If it goes over 7.154 I'll have a new high score.
