Home is Where the Food Isby dafletchrComment: "Hey why the long face"
Sorry couldn't resist that lol
Nice use of sepia tones here and I like the diagonals that you have created and the way the horse is looking straight at us. |

New Hope_6157.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: My immediate reaction to this image was to bring back a memory of staying in West Virginia many years ago and driving over a bridge like this on a daily basis and loving the sound as the car drove over the boards that make up the bridge deck, I wonder if this bridge has the same affect.
Lovely moody shot I can almost here the banjos lol |

Balloon Fiesta over Academyby BalkoComment: Baloons make such good subjects with their striking colours and in this case the blue sky really sets them off.
I'm glad you chose to include the landscape as well as it gives more interest to the shot, I especially like the extinct volcanos Message edited by author 2009-06-06 03:15:01. |

Moon Over Philadelphiaby scooter97Comment: Very nice comination of images.
For some reason my first impresion was, It's the Death Star, reinforced by the laser weapon on the left hand side shooting down the x wing fighter just out of shot, I clearly ate too much cheese last night lol |

the queen of all she surveysby cginoComment: Now as someone from a rainy country the first thing that grabs me about this shot it how flat that porch is lol.
I'm guessing you don't get too much rain down there eh.
Nice pic I specially like the grain we can see in the timber and the presence of the cat adds a nice dimension |

Butterflyby GermaineComment: Very interestimng use of black and white for a subject that we would associate with bright colours.
The facinating thing here is that our brains still tell us the butterfly is brightly coloured, I'm sure there
is a term for this phenomena.
Nice wor |

5-june 09 where i live. ann-marie & kateeby rozComment: Lovely high key shot, I think the fact that the dog is looking at the other dogs works better then if you had actually managed to get her attention.
Perfect use of shallow DOF by the way |
