This is an awesome shot with some terrible lighting and a distracting background! If you darken the room, light the keyboard, keep the same angle, drop a cloth in front of the background stuff and you'll be right on the money. I'd like to see it if you can reshoot it! Oh big bonus because I love the originality and the shot in general!

This would be a great shot if it were much simpler!!! There are too many competeing lines and textures. Put up a dark drop behind the table, use a plain red table cloth and this would be very nice!

Bonus for originality on this shot! And the title helps to make it as it is. Personally I would rather see the same shot without the pill bottle and with negative space instead, but always appreciate originality!
What are the specks on the apple? They are kind of distracting...
You DID do a dang good job lighting up both subjects!

Wonderfully original subjects for a still life!!! Bonus for that! The lighting however kind of lets you down a little. I would also try pulling back a touch to get more background to frame the subject or tighter crop to eliminate it. As is it makes the image lopsided.
